The work behind it
Mesh networking, automated provisioning, single sign-on, containers, monitoring, backup and recovery. I designed all of it and I still run it.
Worth saying plainly
I will tell you when you do not need this.
I build infrastructure, so I could sell you a server. That is exactly why it means something when I say you do not need one. If a mainstream cloud provider or an off-the-shelf product solves your problem for less money, that is the answer, and I will say so.
Most engagements do not start here anyway. They start with working out what the actual problem is. Sometimes it turns out to be the servers. Often it does not.
